Jay Chou's family had inheritance balding problems, therefore he took great care of his hair. This time, he put on a wig he bought from Japan, in order to create a royal european style. His sudden thick hair caused queries and he did admit that he had don a wig.

Alfa felt that the 'royal glamorous poet' look was to complement the scenes in Venice. Just the photo-shooting alone had cost 1 million and it broke the record for being the highest amount used. Renting of the places, eg. Piazza San Marco and opera house, needs money. The opera house is the most expensive of all ($200k for 4 hours). At Piazza San Marco, Jay needs a coffee coloured antique piano as part of the set. The piano was nowhere to be found in Venice and had to be shipped over from Milan using 5 hours. Before the shooting, they had to employ someone to look after it on the night before and all these needs money.

While everyone was working hard to negotiate with the owner, a melodious delightful piano sound was heard suddenly. The owner praised Jay for playing the piano well when he saw him playing. The company staffs immediately introduced Jay to be the one who is going to do the shooting. They didnt expect the owner to agree on the spot and even allowed them to do the shooting for free. What melody did Jay used? He happily said, "It's entirely an extemporaneous creation."
