[Orison Exclusive] Recently re-making the manga/comics onto the big screen becomes extremely popular across the globe. It seems that Jay does not want to stop filming manga re-makes. Admitted that he is a huge fan of manga, he told reporters that if "Doraemon" has a re-make, he will be an excellent choice for the role of Nobi. (Nobita is the full name)

The Japanese movie business is pushing manga movies to the extreme. There are already several re-makes, including "NANA" and "Touch," will be playing in theatres this September. HK-made "Initial D" will be also playing at mid-September in Japan, adding more excitements to the local theatres.

In a recent interview with a Japanese magazine, Jay expressed that, "I really like Japanese Manga, especially "Doraemon" and "Detective Conan" ... if there are re-makes for manga, these two are such good choices!" Jay also revealed that he looked somewhat dull when he was young, with a Bob head and his glasses he looked exactly like Nobi in "Doraemon." He joked that he fits the best for this character.

Chinese, Taiwanese, and HK male artists are storming into Japan during the recent years. After F4's album successfully made it into the top ten charts, Jay released his best hits "Initial J" into the Japanese market. But the overall sucess has been minimal, with its 95th position in Oricon during the debut week of sales. This week the album is has dropped out of the chart, far behind F4 and Rain. The Record company's oversea spokesperson responded in oppose to this news, saying, "Please do not make such an unfair comparison. F4 and Rain made it to Japan via TV shows prior to their music releases, but Jay is doing it in the opposite way. He is landing the Jpn market with his music talents first."
