China fans bash Jay

BEIJING - Who does Jay Chou think he is? That's the angry tone in a spate of Internet postings against the Taiwanese Singer after he reportedly gave an interview to Phoenix Channel.
Chinese netizens were said to be upset over his anti-Chinese remarks.
He reportedly said China's music fans "don't understand my music".
He allegedly also said: "I don't like to go to China to do promotions. But I have no choice as the record company arranges for me to go."
Angry fans reportedly blasted him and his music, with one saying his songs sound alike. Another retorted: "Who wants to understand him?"
Some tried to play the nationalist card by saying that he was more interested in Japanese than Chinese culture.
But his agent in China told the Sina.com website that Chou had been in Japan preparing for a concert and could not have made those remarks. The singer called the news false and a joke, and also denied making those comments.
